19th October 2017 Mt. Biking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: 8 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Thursday 19th October – bike *** Around Felixstowe – cloudy I haven’t been out on my bike since September 28th :( so even though it was a bit of a miserable cloudy day we headed out at eleven. Down to the prom which was fairly busy, then around to The Dip where a large builders compound has been erected in our carpark leaving not much room to park:( The footpath to The Ferry was quiet and the tide was high and still whizzing in! We sat on a seat near the jetty as the boat yard were making the most of the high tide by taking out yachts for the winter. With a breeze picking up we avoided the coast path heading inland to the lovely woodland at The Grove with Autumn in full swing and a couple of families looking for the Fairy tree:) So a couple of hours out covering eight miles.
